The customer is a financial services technology company developing payment products around the world, leveraging a proprietary transaction processing platform, and pioneering a number of firsts in travel, loyalty, currency exchange, and next-generation mobile banking.
The company started its development over 13 years ago and built a sustainable solution, however, to enable fast scaling, rapid feature development, and opening new lines of the business customer is looking for creating the new modern Zenith platform built on microservices architecture as well as enabling single technology platform for operating with its new merged companies.
The request Intellias got is to modernize the platform to the micro-services one.
Project Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Back-end Testing with another AQA for a development team of 7 Engineers.
- Implementation Auto-tests on Rest Assured, JUnit 5, Cucumber.
- Introduce QA Automation practice to the team.
- Reporting project and quality progress, metrics.
- Help the Product Owner and Dev team to create and organize the product backlog.
- Actively participate in the further development of project organization and improving project processes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Microservices and supportive frameworks.
- Strong skills in Java 8+ and OOP.
- Experience in working with Cucumber and Junit5/TetsNG.
- Understanding of design patterns and applying them on project.
- Middle experience with continuous integration processes and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures.
- Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN and others).
- Good Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types.
- Experience in Scrum processes establishment with further adjustments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence).
- Experience in API testing, GIT source control, Jenkins.
- Upper-intermediate/Advanced written and spoken English.
